MPC555 Kit Board
A single-board computer with all basic inputs and outputs based on a singlechip microprocessor MPC555. Thanks to a unique time processor TPU is this unit aimed mainly on applications requiring very low lag. All pins are connected to a terminal plate to ease testing and expansion. - GPS receiver Motorola Oncore M12
- accelerometer ADXL202e
- CAN bus: 2 channels with 82C250
- 2xRS232
- 4x opto-isolated data inputs
- external RAM , 16bit x 128kB, optional 256kB/512kB
- external FLASH, two 29lv081-8bit, optional 2MB/4MB
- serial EEPROM, 93C66
- optional headers with all MPC555 pins, (I/O piny a TPU)
It can be said the TPU is a processor inside a processor. TPU is a powerful unit with 16 input/output channels. This unit is used to handle fast pulses and to create rapid response given a preprogrammed function. These are for example:
- stepper motor control (two and three phase, up to 4 steppers simultaneously)
- Hall probe detection for stepper motor setup
- startup of stepper motors
- PCM (also synchronized with signal in another channel)
- PWM
- UART (word length is programmable from 1 to 14 bits, parity/no parity check, speed up to 100 kBbps
