Ingenia is a single-board computer based on a powerful RISC processor by MOTOROLA and is designed as multi-purpose unit to be used in wide range of applications. Because many different peripheries can be connected is is possible to utilize it in many segments of industry and automation. A large amount of RAM and large capacity of FLASH memory ensures high performance in when used as a real time system. A standard IDE interface, Ethernet interface, USB, CAN and serial channels are implemented. Thanks to an on-board 2D graphic accelerator it is possible to connect the computer to TFT, STN or CRT display units. All peripheries are fully supported by the Linux operating system. When used as a stand-alone computer it can be used for many tasks in communication and visualization, when connected to some of supported modules it is ready to serve as sophisticated control system in automation or industry.

MPC555 Kit Board

LPP555_1A single-board computer with all basic inputs and outputs based on a singlechip microprocessor MPC555. Thanks to a unique time processor TPU is this unit aimed mainly on applications requiring very low lag. All pins are connected to a terminal plate to ease testing and expansion.

TSRAM industrial computers based on VME

PowerPC  TSRAM 32/8 industrial computer is build on the VME bus, which allows connection of more than one processor module together. Our company offers many operating modules which differ in their capabilities and performance and these can be implemented in many various applications. We have also developed new modules that can scan and acquirde data in real time thus being perfectly suited for processes control in industry.

The heart of our operating units is a 32bit 68030 Motorola CPU based on the PowerPC technology. CPUs are running on frequencies up to 50 MHz, which is perfectly enough for most applications in process control.

Modifications to the system can easily done due to system's design, which enables customization for required application. A module is a PCB(size approx. 100 x160 mm). These modules are plugged into the standard VME frame in single or double layered setup. Up to 21 different modules can be connected to a VME bus. The maximum data rate is 20 MB/s on the 16-bit bus (24-bit bus is also available). Interrupt signals are supported on the bus in up to 7 levels. The bus also allows data transfers without CPUs coordination (i.e. DMA transfer mode). 
To communicate with ordinary PCs, which could be useful for data storage, for entering changes in parameters modifying controlled processes or for measured data evaluation, serial port connection (RS232) is available, over a serial link the connection speed is limited to 115,2 kBps.

Plug-in modules allowing connection to industrial computers using Ethernet interface are currently under development.

PPG Modules


Modules for data acquisition and data distribution are presented here. These modules are connected to the control system using standard interfaces. Some of these modules are replaced by upgraded designs, while for others DevCom uses modules of other well established companies.

Biomass heater control system with 200kW power incl. conveyers
The system is build with TS02 terminal, TS04 control unit and PIGGYPIC modules with analog inputs for measuring temperature and biomass weight. Continuous and self-service operation.

Engine and device control
Single-purpose control system for measurements of combustion engines output power characteristics
The system is build on TS04 control terminal with PIGGYPIC module for speed and torque moment measurement.
Device for simulation of acceleration by means of hydraulic accumulator
System based on TS04 II control unit (regulation cycle 1ms) with PIGGYPIC modules for operating inputs and actuators and for auxiliary sound generation. Controlled from remote PC computer station.

Custom development and production
Navigation computer for Inertial Navigation with GPS and accelerometers
The heart of the system is the PowerPC MPC555 processor running at 40 MHz, FLASH memory, RWM, OnCore GPS and Analog Devices accelerometers.
