LUN1795.2 is designed to display the horizontal situation (HSI). Data are received via ARINC 429, RS-422 data buses, and analog inputs for selsyn/resolver/discrete signals. The processed data are displayed on the device’s square color display.
The unit supports multiple HSI display modes, allowing adaptation to different operational or regional practices. The display resolution is 1200 × 1200 pixels and supports NVIS compatibility.

The device is an electronic unit with a 5-inch HSI display. It consists of three printed circuit board (PCB) modules:
- Communication module (ARINC 429, RS-232/422, GPIO, power supplies)
- Analog module (XYZ / SinCos / discrete inputs)
- Control module (NXP processor with safety FPGA)
The PCBs are detachable, interconnected via precision connectors, and mechanically secured.
The following certification levels apply to this product:
- Environmental Certification Level: RTCA/DO-160E
- Software Level: RTCA/DO-178B Level C

Supported Inputs
The display supports analog inputs such as synchro (XYZ), resolver (Sin/Cos), CDI/VDI deviations, TO/FROM signals, and other analog signals connected to the ADC.
It also supports up to four ARINC 429 input channels for devices such as the Garmin GTN 6xx or 7xx series. Additional devices communicating via digital buses (e.g., DME) can also be connected.
