LUN 1794, is used to convert voltage signal levels from Synchro/Resolver systems to ARINC digital values corresponding to the angle measured. The device has three channels, with options for input signal types of synchro or resolver for each channel. A logical signal indicating validity is attached to each channel. The digital values are then broadcasted on the ARINC bus.

LUN 1794 has been successfully installed on a variety of aircraft and helicopters, including L-410, L-410 UVP, Jak-40, Tu-154, An-26, L-39, MI-24, and MI-17. Other supported aicraft are listed below.

Old synchro or resolver systems, such as the LUN 1205 Electrical Gyro Horizont and Russian GMK Gyro, can serve as sources of analog signals for LUN 1794. The output ARINC interface of LUN 1794 is directly connected to safety aircraft systems i.e. from Bendix/King and Honeywell, including the EGPWS and TCAS systems.

LUN 1794 also works as a signal source for systems like heading GMK, roll, and pitch AGB-96D, AGB-3K, ARK-15, or ARK-UD.
